Our Beliefs:

West Park Christian Reformed Church ~ is an evangelical church in the broad sense of the word.  We believe in the Holy Bible as the Word of God, given to us for our salvation.  Through God's Word, we become aware of our sins and our need for salvation.  Through God's Word, we become aware of Jesus Christ, our savior.  And through God's Word, we are taught to live holy lives in service to God!

The Bread Basket:

The Bread Basket at WPCRC at 15135 Triskett Road, Cleveland, Ohio  44111.  

Open Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Thursdays 1:30-3:30 p.m.

The Bread Basket is an emergency food pantry located at West Park Christian Reformed Church.  The organization serves approximately 500 people per month in the area.  The Mission of the Bread Basket is to feed the hungry living within our established boundaries and to respond to the needs which arise as we fulfill this call.  It is our vision that the Bread Basket will communicate God's Love by serving with tenderness and compassion the hungry living within our established boundaries.

West Park Christian Reformed Church regularly collects for the Bread Basket.  We have special boxes in the Narthex right as you come in the front sanctuary doors for Sunday worship to receive your donations.  Also, you may leave your donations in the church office during the week.  Make sure you call ahead so we know you are coming.  Monetary donations should be sent directly to The Bread Basket c/o West Park Christian Reformed Church.

Church Events:

 

*Wacky Wednesday*~ Each Wednesday evening in July, beginning on July 9th, we will offer a VBS activity~based program for the children.  The hours are from 6:30 ~ 8:00 p.m.  The evening includes singing, bible stories, crafts, recreation time, and snack time.  Come and enjoy a summer evening of sharing Christ through fun, fellowship and meeting our neighbors!

*The Sea to Sea Bike Tour*~ (Ending the Cycle of Poverty):  Beginning this past Monday, June 30th, in Seattle, Washington with a total of 220 cyclists and a support crew of 25.  Pastor Len Riemersma, Pastor of Willard CRC is participating.  Please keep all those involved with this great cause in our thoughts and prayers.  If you would like to follow the progress of these tours, go to;  www.SeatoSea.org for updates.

*Women's Bible Study Picnic*~ The picnic will be held on Friday, July 11th, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. in Lakewood Park.  Please bring a dish to share.  We are looking forwards to seeing you there!!!

*The next All Church Dinner~ This will be a picnic held at the East River Park off of Lewis Drive in Olmsted Falls on Thursday,  July 10th, 2008 at 6:00 p.m.  Please bring a salad or casserole to share, hotdogs and dessert will be provided.  Sign-up sheets for this events are located on the Narthex Bulleten Board.
