General Information

~ Upon spillage or accident, immediately report to Central Dispatch at (330)
424-1649 during normal working hours.  If Central Dispatch is not available,
contact Nancy Burton at (330)429-8582 or Mike Madison at (330)429-8567.
Contact the appropriate local authorities.  Keep traffic and pedestrians off the
spill area until clean-up is done.

~ All loads coming into, leaving, or being hauled for Buckeye Industrial Mining
   or Redbud,
must be tarped, no exceptions.

~ Tarps must be designed to cover the load completely.  Cover all corners,
sides, the front and the back of the trailer.  Repair holes or rips.  The prod-
ucts which you haul must not blow out from around or through the tarp.

~ Tarping is to be done prior to leaving the place of loading.  Untarping is not
to be done prior to the arrival at the destination.  Ask if you are not sure of
   the appropriate tarping/untarping area.

~ Beds and tailgates must be checked and cleaned before hauling any load.  In
the winter especially, material tends to stick.  No ash, coal, or other material
can be allowed to go to the wrong destination.

~ Adhere to safe load limit for your truck.  The scales will not print tickets for
unsafely loaded trucks.   When the load originates at a site not controlled or
loaded by Buckeye Industrial, it is your responsibility to take measures to en-
sure that the truck is safely loaded.

~ Hard hats and safety glasses are
required at all First Energy Plants.  If you
get out of the truck, have them on.  They are also to be worn at any other
   destination which requires them.

~ Hard hats and safety-toed shoes are
required at all mine sites and loading
yards.  If you get out of your truck for any reason, have them on.

~ Stay near your truck; do not wander about.  If you need assistance at First
Energy, call so we can contact someone at the site.

~ Winders or salt bolts, one on each side of the bed,  are required and must be
   used on all ash loads.

~ The tailgate must be sealed when hauling wet loads in order to keep water,
ash, or coal from leaking.  Do not haul wet loads unless the tailgate is com-
   pletely sealed.
