General Information (continued)
~ The use of truck washers is required at all sites where they are provided and working. Use them after loading ash.
~ Do not spill or leak grease, oil, or fuel onto any area. Do not fill fuel jugs, grease the truck, or drip oil on tarp winders while on the job sites; do this at your home or garage. Spills are regulated by the EPA at all sites and destina- tions.
~ If you are asked to stock at any plant, it is mandatory. Please contact Cen- tral Dispatch if this changes your schedule, so your loads can be covered.
~ When you are stocking at any plant, make sure your bills state that you were stocking, at which plant, and the time you were stocking, including the time in and out. Stocking is at an hourly rate.
~ Make sure your name, truck number, and truck company is on every ticket. If this information is missing, you will not be paid.
~ All trucks, including pit trucks, are required to have their First Energy badge number on both sides of their trailer or bed. The numbers must be at least 8 inches high.
~ Due to the presence of other personnel and security cameras, use restroom facilities at rest areas, restaurants, etc. Ask someone if you need to know where the closest is located.
~ Check your safety equipment (signs, flares, extinguishers, etc.) and make sure it is in working order.
~ Do not litter. Use trash cans and keep areas clean.
~ If you need time off, let Central Dispatch know three (3) days ahead of time, including Saturday. If your truck breaks down, call as soon as possible so we can try to cover your loads.
~ Failure to comply with the rules may result in termination of your services.
