RAMS Field Day 2001

RAMS Field Day 2001 -- Background

Field Day operation was again held at the farm that belongs to KB9II's mother, near Antioch, Illinois. We used the call W9DY. We ran 5 watts, QRP Battery, Class 1A. We used a G5RV for part of the contest as an inverted-V and also a 40 meter dipole used on 15 meters. We set up the operating position in the north doorway of the arena barn. The antenna mast was set up in the hay field just north of the arena barn.
