The additions are the improved head wings, made from sheet styrene, the new darker color scheme, bigger star, and of course, a shield Cap can be proud to hold.

The shield is made from a large plastic craft ball, like used to make your own Christmas ornaments, It is clear and comes in two halves, Cap's shield is cut from the side of one of the halves. I got this idea a number of years ago from Wizard Magazine. The graphics were sprayed on the shield using acetate masks. The shield was difficult and time consuming, but REALLY worth it!
