"'Ere they come," said Rocky calmly as a thundering line of wargriders
dodged out from behind the last barrow. He and his Blue Mountain Boys
had been waiting some time for just this moment.

They were ready, a mounted ranger on each flank, with Rocky himself holding the center with Bull and Winkel at his side.
The archers managed to send one dire wolf tumbling before the rest were
upon them. However, the dwarves had slyly moved just out of range of
half of the attacking pack. Now they charged in with a vengeance. One
ranger countered one cavalry charge, but the other stood rooted in fear.
The dwarves pressed their initiative a second round, thanks to a ranger
spotting and interdicting a mighty attempt by the attackers to seize
the initiative back. The wargriders were unable to press through the
sea of chopping axes, and soon their mounts were bearing their slumped
forms back through the hills as quickly as they had come.

Warg company as nasty as ever, but the dwarves are complemented by
their recruits specifically to handle this type of BC. Fortunately, my
expensive rangers avoided taking a hit this time!
Oh, and here's a nice shot of my newly completed dwarves. Rocky Rhodes is the guy in the big mink cape...
